Slow in Opera

I use Calendar in IE - is working fine. When I use Calendar in Opera (5.12), the Calendar is opened slowly.
For Example: change month: IE 0.2 sec, Opera 4 sec to open new Calendar window.

There is no time cosuming code in the calendar so there is nothing to optimize. Most likely it's the way Opera works. Those using it (while there are nomal browsers available for free) should be happy they can see calendar working.
