How to add checkbox into the tree?

I build an web application using Tigra tree menu as a tree control. I tried to add checkboxes into the control for each nodes but not really successful.

What I need is let the user select the nodes (by checking the checkboxes) and when they submit the form, the node selection must be submitted as well.

I am not good at javascript. Can someone here help me out?
