Need a modal and on-page calendar on same form

I am needing a modal and on-page calendar on same form. However it looks like the calendar.js file for the modal and the on-page have some of the same functions and they are conflicting. Do you guys have a re-write of the calendar.js file for either the modal or the on-pag so that i can use them on the same form.
