MSIE 7: Slider only works with zoom level at 100%
The slider does *not* work properly with MSIE 7 zoom levels other than 100%. Zooming in or out causes the point where one can actually drag the
slider. The slider does work correctly with MSIE 6.

Well, I took time to install IE7 (can't say I'm very excited about the look/features) and the zoom demo works fine for me. The problem may has
something to do with the paranoid security settings.

Got it, you're talking about zoom feature of the browser, not the zoom demo of the slider. That's not gonna work. The browser scales everything down
yet reports the mouse position without adjusting for the scale. I doubt there is any way for the script to detect that it is scaled/zoomed to adjust
for that.

The IE Zoom function is *not* new to MSIE 7. If you use the ctrl key concurrently with the mouse wheel (using MSIE 6) you will see that the slider
works fine on settings other than 100%. It could be that MSIE 7 has a bug in it, or perhaps M$ has changed the notification method.

That's font size, not scale (zoom). You can see that the lines and images remain the same, only size of the font changes.
