how do you make this thing work?

I purchased this program thinking it was like the menu program which is fabulous. In other words, I was expecting an interface where I specify what I want and the program generates the code. Does the tree program do this and I am just not finding the right page?

I am not a programmer by profession and I think this may be a bit over my head.

If you find it difficult to follow the format of the tree_items.js file then feel free to use the builder that comes with the drop down menu. It generates the compatible structure. Submit a support ticket if you need any help with the results.
